Dr. Okan Bulut, PhD, MA, BA
Professor of Measurement, Evaluation, and Data Science
Dr. Bulut’s research centers on educational data science, learning analytics, and large-scale assessment, with a particular emphasis on how data-driven methods can improve the validity, fairness, and usefulness of educational measurement systems. His work increasingly investigates the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence in educational contexts, including modeling learner behavior, and detecting meaningful learning patterns over time. Dr. Ying Cui, PhD, MA, BA
Professor of Education in Measurement, Evaluation, and Data Science
Dr. Cui specializes in data-driven learning design, psychometrics, and quantitative modeling, with a focus on developing and validating measurement approaches that capture how students learn and develop across diverse contexts. Her recent research applies machine learning and data science techniques to examine cognitive development, identify patterns in learner performance, and model individual differences in how students acquire and apply knowledge. Researcher, Faculty lecturer and independent educational consultant
Nina has worked in education for 25+ years as a teacher, vice principal and instructional coach in regular, special and vocational schools. She teaches EdTech, inclusive leadership, change management, trauma-informed classroom management and inclusive assessment practices. Her research focuses on inclusive practices relating to neurodivergence, and the effects of stigmatisation and stereotype threat on the well-being of neurodivergent learners and educators within the education system.

Learning Support Teacher and Disability Advocate
Nat is an award-winning multiply-disabled Autistic Learning Support Teacher, teacher-educator, and researcher, as well as a parent of neurodivergent children in the public school system. Her work centers on creating inclusive, neuro-affirming, and accessible learning environments grounded in disability justice and informed by the lived experiences and leadership of people with disabilities and diverse abilities.

Shelli has extensive international and domestic classroom and remote teaching experience, supporting students with diverse learning needs using digital learning tools in grounded pedagogy.
